Each month the Democratic Forum poses a question for open discussion.  To start the discussion an article or visual aids for a talk are posted.  Participants can then comment on the posted material or directly on the question itself.  Participants can also recommend questions for future months.

Our question for February: Is Ohio Loosing the American Civil War?  When Robert E. Lee surrendered his forces most American forces were deactivated.  However, many leaders of the rebellion continued to fight to preserve as many of their unequal privileges as they could.  Their tactics preserved injustices for over a century.  Now tactics very much like those tactics are being used in Ohio.  Are the people of Ohio loosing this continuation of the Civil War?
