Free Movies at Xenia Library

Come watch ‘Union Maids’ at 2:00 PM and ‘Taken for a Ride’ at 3:00 PM on April 17, 2011,  The first film is an Oscar nominated documentary of the vivid history of women  labor organizers in the 1930’s which historian Howard Zinn calles “the best film on labor history I have ever seen.”  The film was produced by local filmmakers – Julia Reichert and Jim Klein (from Yellow Springs) .  The second film exposed the auto/oil industry campaign to destroy public transit and it’s devastating impact on America’s cities.  There will be refreshments!  There is additional parking available at near the Greene County Democratic Headquarters that is only a short walk to the Greene County Library in Xenia.  This event is open to the public.  Bring your friends!
